I thank God every day for giving me this awesome job, even if it is a lot more work than I ever thought it would be. I actually stayed unemployed for a long time out of college because I’m like so many of my peers and thought it would be easy for a college graduate (double major!) to find a job to make some decent money at. I turned down a couple of low-paying opportunities in the beginning I soon regretting but you know, it all worked out because now I get to do what I love every day. I spent far too long watching satellite tv and eating Cheetos on my parents’ couch to complain about working late and I think it’s really starting to show. I’m good at my job and I’m learning every day about what it means to be part of a professional team and I think I may be up for that promotion in a couple of weeks. Can you imagine!

Busy Thursday

It has been a very busy Thursday for us today . We went to Target and did our grocery shopping then dropped at babies R US to get some stuff for our little one (Aaron). And then headed to the mall and looked for clearance items for my box for Phi. Oh what a long day! Now I have to cook our dinner soon and I think I have to hit the bed after that.

Lost job

We have lived in New York for two years and I love it. I was so upset when my husband lost his job a few weeks ago because I thought it meant that we would have to move. I have a friend who told me that she and her husband save money each month by having fixed rate energy. I started doing research on New York energy rates and found out that fixed rate energy is available in our area too. I hope it will save us some money at least until my husband is able to find another job. His company offered him a pretty good severance package and he said that if he can find a job in the next month we will be okay financially. If he can’t find a job in the next month, we will probably have to move back to Georgia where my mom is the head of nursing at a hospital in Atlanta. She told me that if I ever wanted to go back to my job as a nurse, she would always have a job for me. If it comes down to moving, I am really going to miss New York

Bluray Movies

In any given year my husband and I watch hundreds of movies and many of our favorites we will watch over and over. We have invested a great deal of money into our LED television and our bluray player. I can tell you that watching movies in bluray is quite an amazing experience! The colors and definition is so detailed that it really feels like you are part of the movie. Over the last few years we have grown our movie collection to include just about every title you can think to watch.

In our pursuit of building our collection we are always searching for cheap bluray movies as they can be quite expensive. Most of the bluray movies in the store can cost $30 or more, plus you have to pay the sales tax. I have found the buying our favorite movies online can save us a great deal of money, thus allowing us to buy more movies. If you are an avid movie watcher like we are, then I would recommend buying all of your favorite titles online so that you can build you collection!

Autocad Alternative

As we are working on our new home blueprint, it has been a challenge to find a software tool that we can use cost effectively. I always have this terrible attitude let say impulsive shopper or, I can't make up my mind!! Every time I want something, I always get it, then after a week or so I would say, " Well I think I got the wrong one". I have been like this since when I was young. Nice Weather

Good morning America specially here in Colorado!!Today I couldn't complain about the weather here, it is perfect outside which I think we hit on 80's temperature. Very nice weather and it reminds me back home in Phi. It is exactly as like this weather almost all year round. What is the plan for today? hmm I think me and my little man will go out for walk later then stay on the park for awhile and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
